StentBoost for Interventional Cardiology
Quick and easy
A StentBoost image is produced using the radiopaque markers of the delivery balloon. The result is a still image of the stent with enhanced edges and the region of interest around it. StentBoost images take just 30 seconds to produce:
. Acquire images. After stent placement, you make a normal exposure run without contrast, with the delivery catheter still in place, the balloon deflated.
. Send Images. Send the run to the StentBoost interventional tool. With Philips Xper systems this is done automatically.
. Select Region of Interest. Select the Region of Interest around the catheter markers and start processing.
. Display StentBoost image. Within a few seconds, the enhanced stent image is displayed in the control and / or examination room.
Archiving and Access
The StentBoost interventional tool is based on an open structure, so images can be easily archived and accessed via other modalities. E.g. images can be easily viewed remotely in the office or at home and shared with colleagues, thanks to Philips’ unique web server functionality. These images are produced in standard formats like JPEG, AVI. |
